It’s Your City. Learn How to Use It

The New Orange Way to Civic Power

Being a good citizen means more than just voting — it means knowing how to use your local government to get things done.

That’s why I’m advocating to educate, empower, and activate the people of Orange: The New Orange Way to Civic Power.

This isn’t just for District 1. It’s for everyone in our city who’s ever asked:

  • Who do I call about street repairs?

  • What does the City Council actually vote on?

  • How do I influence a project in my neighborhood?

If you’ve asked questions like these, you’re not alone. And you deserve answers that are clear, useful, and accessible.

This advocacy will push for:

  • Break down city processes in plain English

  • Teach residents how to navigate departments and services

  • Deliver “Civics in 60 Seconds” content via email and social media

Why? Because a citizen who understands how to use their government is a citizen who gets results. Whether it’s preserving neighborhood character, fixing a local issue, or shaping the future of Orange — it starts with knowledge.

And knowledge is The New Orange Way.
